This is why we have simplified our core training into Script and Improv. Throughout the year, we dive deep into each subject ensuring that our actors are well rounded and prepared for anything.

I've said this several times that you all have so much to learn about the business side. Getting information from professionals in the business is so valuable. Networking is a skill. Making connections and taking notes so you get the most out of these events is key. I highly recommend you having business cards with your photo's, agency, and your email on them. We have several talent that are also directors that you run into. Meeting people and learn as much as possible every year you are doing this is the key to your success. Bella is amazing and this is her event so you will get to see her there. You have a lot of folks in AZ who want to help you succeed. LA Acting Academy 


LA Acting Academy is offering 10% off for new students deal is good till Friday Sept 8th.

Some parents and talent want to work the LA market. This studio does showcases each year for kids in front of mainly LA and AZ agencies. Personally I don't think you should get an LA agent until you've been with a local one for almost 2 years. Working the local market and being reliable when agents and casting are selecting you is a good start and best impression to make. Your team can expand over time. They are doing lots of zoom classes right now so for folks that don’t live near by or maybe have a crazy schedule ZOOM is something to consider.

Cara Alvey's Actor's Workshop

Parents this is a great chance to sign your kids up with an acting coach who trained with a legendary acting coach for over a decade. Cara also continues so train each year and that is so important. Cara even has an amazing mentor and guest speaker who popped in to her teen class Jean Fowler. Jean was my acting coach in the 80’s so when I heard she was going to be at her class I had to stop by to say hi! If you haven't heard Jean taught Emma Stone! Knowing where your acting coach got there information is so important. Cara trained in NY and at the British Academy of Dramatic Arts for a summer program and continues to train to share that information with her students.

Hey y'all, I saw Jean at her retirement party a few years back but wanted to see her again since it had been a while. It is always great to see folks you grew up with.
